We worked closely with the couple to create a glamorous cake design for their wedding at the bride's parents' estate in Woodbury, Connecticut. Many of the details were inspired by crystals, which were Hope's favorite detail. The centerpiece on the altar was hung with crystal strands and the floral centerpieces featured similar crystal details as well. The placement of the altar over the glistening pool added to the sparkle of the wedding.

We created an elaborate wedding cake for Hope and Scott. Hope wanted a very grand wedding cake with lots of glitz and glamour. She requested that we incorporate the look of crystals and sparkle into her wedding cake, while keeping the overall look of the cake timeless and romantic.
Since the cake had so much detail and was very tall we had to deliver the tiers separately and assemble them on-site. Ana finished some of the detailing at the wedding, to ensure everything was perfect!
Each tier of the wedding cake was covered in white fondant, painted with pearl dust (to give a glittery look), and then adorned with handcrafted roses, freesia, and sweet pea sugar flowers. The wedding cake also featured fondant butterflies and a monogram representing the couple's last name.
